Worker blamed for death of chickens after drinking wins unfair dismissal case

A poultry worker, recently fired for being intoxicated at work, has won an unfair dismissal case against her former employer. Despite being seemingly intoxicated at work, sleeping on shift, and unintentionally causing the death of up to 50 chickens, Heidi Cannon successfully won her case against the poultry company who were ordered to pay her compensation and superannuation in recompense for the decidedly unfair termination of her employment.
